Privacy Policy

Last updated 16 September 2026

PageNearby ("we", "us") publishes web pages for businesses in India and helps businesses get their own websites. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. It is written to comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Information about businesses

Business pages are built from information that businesses have made public: name, category, address, opening hours, ratings and reviews shown on public map and directory listings. We do not publish personal data of individuals who are not the business itself. A business can ask for its page to be corrected or removed at any time, see Terms, section 4.

2. Information you give us

When you ask to see a business's phone number, we ask for your email address and your consent to receive marketing email. We store the email address, the page you were on, the time, and your IP address.

When you email us at support@pagenearby.com, we keep the correspondence to handle your request.

3. How we use it

4. Your choices

5. Sharing

We do not sell your email address. We share it only with the service providers who send our email and host our servers, under contract, and with authorities when the law requires it. Businesses listed on PageNearby do not receive your address unless you write to them directly.

6. Cookies and storage

Business pages set one browser flag to remember that you have already entered an email, so you are not asked twice. We may use privacy-respecting analytics that do not identify you. Embedded maps are served by Google and subject to Google's privacy policy.

7. Retention

Lead emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion, and no longer than 24 months after your last interaction. Support correspondence is kept for 24 months.

8. Contact
